Dr. Pauline Knowles grew up in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
She attended undergraduate classes at U-Mass Amherst and obtained her doctorate at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1990. After graduating, she worked around the Cape Cod and Boston area as an associate veterinarian before moving to Florida. It was here that she became the practice owner of Shady Road Veterinary Clinic.
In 2005, She sold her animal clinic and moved to Virginia to work as a relief veterinarian. Dr. Knowles lives in Montross with her husband Joe. They have cats, horses, goats and chickens,

Mobile Veterinary Clinic servicing Montross, Colonial Beach, King George, and Fredericksburg, VA.
